Noam is committed to providing the school with a new permanent home, which will allow it to meet the needs of the community and to provide the best education to its pupils as well as achieve the long term aim of being a Voluntary Aided primary school in the London Borough of Barnet.
Noam has secured a site on East Road, Burnt Oak, HA8 0AJ, which is conveniently located between Hendon/Golders Green and Edgware and on which Noam is building a new purpose-built school building.
Detailed plans for a new building have been developed with the assistance of architects, Hunters. Hunters were selected to lead the design work following a competitive tender because of their proven track record in designing high quality school buildings that are tailored for the needs of the pupils and staff.
The planning committee of LB Barnet has granted Noam planning permission for their proposed design and MY Construction has been appointed to undertake the construction work, which is getting underway. The build works are anticipated to take just over 52 weeks. At the same time as developing the site, Noam has published it formal Proposal to join the maintained sector as a voluntary aided school. The representation period for that is now closed and a decision on our application to LB Barnet is expected shortly.
There is still much to be done, but these are exciting times for Noam and we look forward to welcoming parents, staff and friends of the school, but most importantly our students, to come and join us at our new home.
